About me

My name is Sharon Burton. I live in inland So Cal with my writer husband, 2 large dogs, and 2 elderly cats.

By and large, if it’s related to Technical Communication, I’ve done it over the last 18 years. I’ve been a salaried writer, docs manager, owned my own consulting company, and am now moving into product management for the tools we use. It’s been a highly rewarding career so far! I’ve certainly rarely been bored, which is very important to me.

In my spare time, I write creative non-fiction, knit, garden, play with the dogs, ride my bike, design knitted articles, and hang with my husband.
